The Avia Design Group was founded
by Grahame Shannon and associates. Between us we have many years of experience
designing and building fine boats.
Mr. Shannon also founded Autoship Systems Corp., the worlds leading developer of boat and
ship design software. Naturally, we use Autoship as our primary design tool. The boats and
other objects you see throughout this site were all designed with Autoship(TM) and
rendered with 3D Studio(TM) or Corel Bryce(TM).
We design to international standards, complying with USCG, NMMA, EU, ISO and
classification societies where appropriate. Plans can be submitted for ABS, Lloyds or DNV
approval. Stability and performance predictions are carried out using the latest computer
simulations.
Quality of design is our commitment. We ask that our clients commit to quality of
manufacture.
